Lana's Safe Adventure

"Hi, friends! Today, we’ll go on a little adventure with Lana!" said her mom as they stood at the edge of the street. This is Lana, a cheerful girl with curly brown hair and a bright yellow dress. "I want to cross the road to get to the park!" she exclaimed. But wait! Lana stops at the traffic light. She looks up and wonders, "Do you know what traffic lights do?"

When the light is RED, it means STOP! Cars must stop, and people should wait. Shoes tapping, Lana waits patiently. When the light is YELLOW, it means GET READY! Lana stands tall, her heart racing with excitement. Then, the light turns GREEN, and she smiles brightly. "Great job, Lana!" her mom cheers. Lana looks left and right, then walks safely across the road, waving at the cars that stop for her. Thanks to the traffic light, she crossed safely and now runs joyfully in the park with a big grin!

Lana loves the swings, her favorite part of the park. She swings higher and higher, feeling like she's flying through the sky. "Look at me, Mom! I'm a bird!" she giggles, her voice filled with pure joy. The sun shines warmly on her face, and the gentle breeze whispers through the leaves, creating a symphony of laughter and nature.

After the swings, Lana decides to try the slide. It's tall and shiny, glistening in the sunlight. With a deep breath, she climbs the ladder and gives a little wave to her mom before sliding down with glee. "Weee!" she shouts, landing softly on the grass. Her mom claps her hands, proud of Lana's courage and careful steps.

As the afternoon sun begins to dip lower in the sky, Lana and her mom gather their things to head home. "Did you have fun today, Lana?" her mom asks, holding her hand. "Yes! And I even learned about traffic lights!" Lana replies, beaming with pride. Together, they walk back, stopping safely at the crosswalk, where Lana now knows exactly what to do.
