Once there was a king who could only see with one eye. He limped when he walked, but he was very proud. One day, he called many artists to come and paint him. "I want a portrait!" he said. "But please make sure my flaws don’t show!" All the artists shook their heads and said, "No, thank you!" They couldn’t hide what was true!
Then one brave artist stepped forward. He smiled and said, "I will paint you, dear king!" The king was surprised but excited. The artist painted the king standing tall with a hunting rifle, closing one eye just right. He showed the king's heart and courage beautifully. Everyone loved the painting! It taught them that everyone has flaws, but we can still be seen as wonderful!
The king was so pleased with his portrait that he decided to show it to everyone in the kingdom. He invited all his subjects to the grand hall. When they saw the painting, they clapped and cheered. "You are a very wise king!" they said. "You see the good in everything, just like the brave artist!"
The artist became famous for his kind heart and special gift. People from far and wide came to see his paintings and learn from him. He taught them to look at things with love and to find beauty everywhere. The king and the artist became good friends, and they often talked about how wonderful it was to see the world in a new light.
And so, the kingdom became a happy place where everyone tried to see the good in each other. The king ruled with kindness and grace, and the artist kept painting stories of bravery and heart. Together, they reminded everyone that true beauty is not in hiding flaws, but in celebrating what makes us who we are.
