Wilbur sat in his strict school, staring at the clock. "Isn't history supposed to be fun?" he whispered to his friend Mia. "Maybe if you raised your hand and asked a question, it would be!" she replied. Wilbur felt a rush of courage and raised his hand. "Um, why do we need to learn about flags?" he asked. The teacher, Mrs. Tightlips, frowned and said, "Because flags are very important! Now, you have a special assignment! You must collect a flag from every country in the world!"

Wilbur was shocked but excited. He ran home and started his quest. He imagined the flags he would find: the bright red of China, the green of Brazil, and even the blue and yellow of Ukraine. But when he returned the next day, he was even more puzzled. Mrs. Tightlips had all the flags sewn together! "Look! A new flag of the world!" she declared with a smirk. Wilbur couldn't believe it. She had turned a simple assignment into a strange art project! He couldn't help but laugh, realizing that his boring school could be quite interesting after all.
